Easy Apple Pie

2 tablespoons flax meal
4 or 5 dates, pitted
1/2 cup pecans
1/2 cup almonds
2 tablespoons dried cranberries or raisins
1 apple, cored


Coarsely grind the nuts in a food processor. Add dates, cranberries or raisins, and agave nectar and pulse a few times to chop the dates.

Quarter the apple and add to the food processor and pulse a few times to chop the apple. Be careful not to over process the apple. You want chunks of apple in the pie and don't want it to turn into apple puree.

Sprinkle Cinnamon on top. Saigon Cinnamon is a great type of cinnamon if you have it. If not, any type of cinnamon will do.

Serve decorated with apple slices.
